Hi, I’m Jess – founder of The Learning Liaison Co.
With over 22 years of experience in education, including 15 years as a primary school teacher, I’ve dedicated my career to helping students thrive. I’ve worked as both a classroom teacher and an academic support teacher, guiding children to build confidence and rediscover a love of learning.
Over the years, I’ve supported students in both face-to-face and online settings, with a special focus on 1:1 tutoring. It’s in these personalised sessions where I see the greatest growth – not just academically, but in self-belief and resilience.
Supporting families and acting as a true ‘learning liaison’ is at the heart of what I do.
My mission
As both a teacher and a parent, I understand how tricky it can feel when you want to support your child’s learning but aren’t sure where to start. That’s where I come in — offering friendly, collaborative tutoring that works closely with schools and specialists to provide the consistent support your child needs to thrive.
My goal is to collaborate with families, educators, and support teams to help students not only make progress in their learning but also feel confident, understood, and truly supported. I believe in building strong, trusting relationships with both students and their families to create a nurturing learning environment that reaches beyond the classroom.
